About us - our current team
We're here to help you settle in
The Asylum & Integration Support Group is an entirely volunteer-run organization. We receive
organizational support from the Protestant Zachäus Church in Gröbenzell, as well as
from the Catholic Church of St. John the Baptist.
Currently, we consist of a core group of just five people and an extended
network for, for example, language support, dealing with government agencies, or organizing
events. The group is chaired by Eva-Maria Heerde-Hinojosa.
Each member contributes their skills to the best of their ability. The
range of tasks includes
- issuing policy statements
- dealing with government agencies
- handling finances and
donations - supporting individual refugees and refugee families
- as well as public relations work.
Once a month, we meet in a small internal group to discuss organizational matters
and with representatives from the local community and Caritas. We also participate in the
coordinators’ meeting for all volunteer groups in the district, organized by
Caritas Fürstenfeldbruck.
We are urgently seeking citizens who are willing to
- actively contribute to our core team
- or get involved in specific areas of refugee assistance.
Je nach Thema oder Bereich beträgt der zeitliche Aufwand ca. 5 – 10 Stunden im Monat.
